Cookies

This site uses very few cookies, and none of them watch you.

There is no advertising here, no analytics, no tracking pixels and nothing shared with a social network. Nobody is building a profile of you from this website.

What is actually set

If you sign in to an account, WordPress sets cookies that keep you signed in and protect the forms you submit from being forged. Without them you would be signed out on every page. They clear when you sign out, or expire on their own — sooner if you did not tick “stay signed in”.

If you pay Stripe sets its own cookies on its own checkout pages, which are needed to process the payment and to spot fraud. Those are Stripe’s, described in their privacy policy, and they are not set by this site.

If you just read the site, or send an enquiry without making an account, nothing is set at all.

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent is needed for cookies that are not strictly necessary — the ones that measure, target or follow. This site sets none of those, so there is nothing to ask you about, and a banner would only be theatre.

[ If you ever add analytics, embedded video, a chat widget or an advertising pixel, that stops being true. You would need a consent banner that blocks them until someone agrees, and this page would need rewriting. ]

Turning them off

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking them here costs you nothing unless you want an account — sign-in cannot work without them.
